Morning, on clean skin. Vitamin C works as an antioxidant, so it makes most sense before a day outside — and straight after it, apply SPF 30 or SPF 50. Save retinol for the evening, not the same step.
It works best combined with the hydrating toner and a day cream. The bottle holds 30 ml.
No — and that is the biggest difference between our serum and most „vitamin C“ serums out there. Classic serums are built on pure L-ascorbic acid. That is unstable: within a few weeks it oxidises, turns yellow and then brown — and stops working. And because it needs a very low pH, a lot of people get stinging, redness and irritation from it.
We use ascorbyl glucoside — a stable form of vitamin C that works at a pH gentle to the skin. It does not sting, it will not turn brown when stored somewhere cool and dry, and sensitive skin can handle it. Alongside it, ferulic acid, which boosts the effect of vitamin C and is a strong antioxidant in its own right — cheap serums leave it out because it is expensive.
And all of it in a natural formula: Ecocert Cosmos Natural, no alcohol, no artificial fragrance, no parabens or silicones. Effective vitamin C that does not irritate the skin — that is the whole point.
Store it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight — not on the bathroom windowsill. Under those conditions it will not turn brown and the vitamin C in it stays effective. Once opened, use it within 6 months.
It is natural cosmetics, not a synthetic mix that survives years on a shelf. The shorter shelf life is the price of a clean formula — and honestly, for us it is also proof that there is nothing unnecessary in that bottle. If the serum does darken noticeably or change its smell, stop using it.
